celosia: burning flame

These photos were taken today (9/5/12) showing the celosias, the flame of passion, are still burning in earnest.  I am not the only one lamenting that the celosia hasn’t been recognized more than it deserves.  The National Garden Bureau declared 2006 to be the year of the celosia, shining the spotlight on this passionate beauty.
