Singing “In Praise of Formosa” (福爾摩沙頌) evokes nostalgia (思鄉情怯)

Thanks to the teaching of a minister’s wife from New Jersey, we learned and sang In Praise of Formosa (福爾摩沙頌) on our trip to Arizona and New Mexico last summer. The Youtube link is the performance of it by National Symphony Orchestra & National Choir.

Our amateurish singing was no match for the professional performance, but we’re as enthusiastic and emotional, evoking nostalgia (思鄉情怯). This is my continuing ‘nostalgia’ series.
