Raise Jolly Rogers again at different spot of our garden

Pirates made even in August; the worst month of this season.  It tied with Cardinals for NL central lead when “the little bird” flew to Cincinnati yesterday.  After beating the Milwaukee Brewers today, Pirates reclaimed the top spot; thanks to Cincinnati Red’s beating Cardinals.  Lonn cannot say Janet and I never root for the Reds, evil though it may, nevertheless, it is a lesser of two evils, especially when it was fighting the Cardinals.

We discovered that it was a “wrong” spot to raise the Jolly Rogers in our garden; after days of deep thought and much deliberation, a new victory spot was found.  As I said many years ago, I normally cannot tolerate ignorance or superstition, but when it comes to baseball, all the physical laws are made in heaven; divine intervention is real.

The end is near! Pirates is only two games away from ending the 20-year losing streak.  We’re now focusing on the postseason berth and the division pennant.
