Cannas: The ladies in red in our garden

I have had several canna posts and have nothing further to say about these ladies in red in our garden.  I like canna for several reasons: they attract bees (which is essential for ‘sexual’ reproduction) and hummingbirds (rare delicate beauty) with vibrant blossoms and large, lush leaves; they last the whole season, keeping the garden in bright color to the end; these photos were taken between July 16 and September 19, 2013.
