Steelers are playing for pride, revenge and control, not for the playoff berth, tonight

Yesterday was a good day, a victorious day for the Steelers, and they didn’t even play.  All the teams that are supposed to lose lost.  Steelers clinched the AFC playoff berth because Oakland, Tennessee, Denver and New York Jets all lost.  And better yet, with the Baltimore Ravens lost at San Diego last night, Steelers were propelled to the AFC North Division champ.

Taking advantage of this situation, the ankle-sprained Roethlisberger may play tonight to ensure a win, as Pouncey was out and Harrison is being suspended for one game.  This is not a Must Win game, but it is a game for pride, revenge and control.  Two of the three losses the Steelers suffered this season were at the hands of John Harbaugh’s Ravins.  And Steelers are to play Jim Harbaugh’s (John Harbaugh’s younger brother) San Francesco 49ers tonight.  If you cannot beat that Harbaugh (John), you got to beat this one (Jim).

The Big Ben should play or not tonight; to play or not to play, that is the question.  Mike Tomlin got paid to make this kind of tough decision.
