Steelers (9-3) had an easy win against Cincinnati Bengals today, and as Observer-Reporter’s E. Dale Lolley wrote, is now a contender, not a pretender, for the playoff. New York Giants gave Green Bay Packers a run for their money today; the successful 31 feet field goal kick with 3 seconds left for the game kept the Packers as the only NFL undefeated team (12-0). When Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers meet in the Super Bowl, let’s hope the Packers will be like Will Durant said of Thomas Cromwell (Henry VIII’s counselor), “won every battle except the last.” (Cromwell eventually went to the Tower of London.)
