There
was a very nice “tying the knots” ceremony the morning after the
grand marriage, the ceremony was apparently independent of the
wedding. From my observation that female family members tie an
auspicious protection knot against misfortune on the wrist of male
ones. It was very affectionate, emotional and touching, bringing
tears to many.
I
think the timing of this ceremony is super, as I notice that during
the wedding ceremony the bridegroom's scarf is also tied to the
bride's dress. The tying knot ceremony is apparently a propitious
ritual.
