The fashionably dressed young lady made us look like we’re refuges (逃難的)

We took off from Boston Logan Airport 6:42 PM on September 20 and arrived at London Heathrow Airport at 6:25 AM next day. It took about one hour to reach the hotel at King’s Cross St. Pancras stations (a few minutes walking to our hotel, the very reason why we picked this hotel).  After leaving the luggage in the hotel, we headed to Westminster Hall, which is actually part of Parliament, so named as it is next to Westminster Abbey.

We took advantage of “The London Open House” that weekend, visiting the Parliament and Banqueting House free.  We lost one night of sleep crossing the Atlantic Ocean and still managed to have a full-day schedule that included Trafalgar Square and ended attending an organ recital and an evening service at Westminster Abbey.  We went back to the Abbey for a more detailed tour on September 23.

Katy took this photo showing Janice and I passing by a very fashionably dressed young lady (which made us look like we’re refuges—逃難) while walking to the line to enter Westminster Hall.  The background on the right is Henry VII Chapel, also called Lady Chapel.  We did see the magnificent inside while touring the Westminster Abbey.
