This post shows why I like to read the
letter-to-the-editor at the Wall Street
Journal. I think teensy-weensy,
teeny-weeny,
itzy-bitzy,
itsy-bitsy
all mean “very small” or “tiny” or what a serious physicist would call infinitesimal (so small as to be almost none)—a concept needed in studying calculus.
