Q: How was the winter? A: What winter?

While working in the garden today, I overheard the newly emerged tulip was whispering to Chinese leaf mustard (小芥菜), “How was the winter?” Having survived a mild winter in our garden, the Chinese leaf mustard (小芥菜) responded, “What winter?”  The children we raised tend to have the attitude we have; this also applied to the “children” in our garden.
